2013 Farmers Picnic - Big Carnival - Fantastic Entertainment

The 2013 Blandinsville Farmers Picnic is looking to be one of our best yet!
The Picnic begins on Thursday June 20th. Come down early and start your evening with a delicious meal in the firehouse. Don't miss the Little Miss & Master Show at 6:30pm on the main stage in the park. All young children in the area are encouraged to be on-site at 6:15pm to participate in this years show which will focus much more on kid friendly entertainment! No pre-registration required! Following the Little Miss & Master Show, talented area singers will entertain on the main stage, competing for a 5 hour recording session with Red Light Records.
Thursday is also the first night of the carnival. This year's carnival will be as fun as ever with 10 rides!. Bring the whole family for a fun evening at the Blandinsville Farmers Picnic.
Friday, come to the Blandinsville Park for live music on the main stage, 5-9pm, featuring Highway 99, a fantastic group that entertained us at last years Farmers Picnic Show & Shine. You can learn more about them by going to the entertainment page. The BCO will be serving Tacos In A Bag and other tasty items from the Pepsi wagon next to the stage. There will also be a fantastic dinner served in the firehouse . On both Friday & Saturday nights, head over to the adult beverage area for after hours live music and lots of fun for adults over 21.
Saturday is going to be FANTASTIC! Start your day early with foot races and fun sponsored by First State Bank. The 126th Farmers Picnic Parade kicks off at 10am. You might even see a new parade route! The 15th Annual Vicki Haney Bake-Off stats after the parade in the firehouse. How about a fishing derby? Don't miss the 2nd Annual Kids Who Care "Show & Shine" on Main Street with live music by the Cole Hollow Band. You can learn more about them by going to the entertainment page. That's not all....... Also Saturday afternoon... an exciting Kids Tractor Pull! Another tasty meal will be served in the firehouse and the BCO Pepsi wagon will be serving food all afternoon on main street and Saturday evening in the park. Saturday evenings main stage entertainment will be the Frank F. Sidney band. You can learn more about them by going to the entertainment page.
Sunday, we round out the Farmers Picnic with worship services in the park.
